Postnatal Cleansing/Detoxing

There are many reasons why Queens seek to cleanse and detox after birth. Seeing anu life may inspire you to take your health moor serious than you did before. This is a wonderful reason to aspire towards longevity and a full life. Another reason why Queens may be eager to cleanse after birth is to get back to their pre-birth weight. While body weight and image can effect self-esteem and confidence, it is important to focus on your health and vitality, especially if your are breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding is the best activity for you and your beybee. You nourish and build a strong bond with your starseed while burning up to 500 calories per feeding. Your uterus begins contracting back to the size et was before pregnancy. The Most Highs created you perfectly. Don’t feel like you have to rush anything. Resc well, eat whenever you can and take care of yourself and beybee. Everything is on The Most Highs timing. As you learn and grow with your starseed, you will develop a routine and then you will be able to implement cleansing techniques into your daily rituals.

However, a mother who is breastfeeding should keep in mind that whatever she consumes, her child consumes also. Et is safer to be gentle on your body during the postpartum stage as your body is still going through so many changes after delivery of a baby. You and your body is still adjusting to the way that life is now, whether it’s your first child or beybee number 4.

As there were many things that you couldn’t take during pregnancy to cleanse, the meadow widens postpartum. We will share a few gentle ways to cleanse and detox during the postnatal period.

Spiritual Purification

  • Palils/Meditation

    • Give ThAnkhs and Rejoice! Get under your palil shawl and show gratitude for everything that The Most Highs have given you. A child is the most precious gift and highest honor. Before we try to request anything we should value and appreciate what we already have. Ask The Most Highs to guide you in your actions towards health and wellness. “…and by works was faith made perfect…” (Ya’aqov/James 2:22) Implement your plans for success and know that TMHs Elohim help those who help themselves. Visualize yourself injoying your healthy vibrancy and expand that feeling of gratitude in your heart for TMHs.

  • Salt Bath/Aromatherapy

    • Being a mother is a LOT of work. Elohiym entrusted you with this duty because they knew you were strong enough to complete the task. When you feel like you need spiritual cleansing and protection, or you just need some relaxation, you can draw yourself a warm salt bath. Reach out to someone within your support system to look after beybee while you soak for a little bit. Fill tub to desired fullness and add 1 Cup of Epsom Salt or Sea Salt to the bath tub. For added relaxation and healing you can use essential oils and flower essences in your bath. Some suggestions for stress relief are Lavender, Clary Sage, Jasmine, Chamomile, Bergamot. This bath will also pull toxins out of your body while soak. You can also use them in a carrier oil, such as jojoba oil or coconut oil, to rub on your body after a salt bath instead for equivalent benefits.

Mental Purification

  • Good Habits/Journaling

    • Shift your mind into the right space to prepare for change. If your mind can see the end, it will aid you in making the right choices daily. Break out your journal and write down what it is that you are trying to accomplish. Make it as clear and specific as possible. For example “I am going to drink green juices and smoothies everyday in order to get moor nutrients and cleanse toxins out of my body to become lighter.” Write about how these juices make you feel when you drink them, what are they doing on the inside of your body (use imagination/visualize), what changes are you seeing? The pen is mightier than the sword.

Physical Purification

  • Movement

    • Depending on how far along you are into your postpartum/postnatal stage will determine how much movement you are able to partake in. If yah are a new mama, we advise you to RESC as much as possible and not wear yourself out with movement. You will make up for movement not taken once your starseed starts crawling and walking. The most movement we suggest in the beginning is walking around the house.

    • If yah have been in the postnatal stage for 6 months or more, move as best a you feel comfortable and confident with. Remember to be gentle on yourself and not overdo movement. You should know your body and how much pressure it can be under. Walking is the best low impact and effective exercise. The intensity can be increased with pace and distance. Even better if it is a sunshiny day to burn out the toxins and supercharge you and your starseed. Exercise doesn’t have to be boring either. If walking in your neighborhood is not an option for you, you can put on some righteous tunes and dance! Just move your body and sweat a little bit. Always remember to replace all the water that you lose via sweat. Hydrate!

  • Food

    • Pure water is our most basic and most important necessity. If you are still breastfeeding, most of your water comes back out of you as liquid gold for your seed. Everyday, this should be the first thing on your mind, to replenish, to refuel, to drink water. Water is our foundation. It keeps your milk supply going steady and assists your liver and kidneys with flushing toxins out of your body. Drink at least half of your body weight in ounces to 1 gallon of water daily. Once we have our foundation we can begin building with everything else that Amma Mama has given to us.

      • Honey Lemon Water (Drink 2-3x a day before meals)

        • 1 Lemon (juice)

        • 2 Tbsp Raw Honey. Find here.

        • 32oz Water

    • Green juices and smoothies are a mother’s blissed companion. They are full of nutrients and come in a jar with a straw to boot. A single hand is all that is needed to get all of the goodness that these drinks have to offer. You just need to have a good support system of people who are willing to make you a smoothie filled with 13 Love. Food prepared by someone salty vs someone who cares taste completely different. Make sure that you are filling your body with love and kindness because all that is within you is transferred to your beloved child. Green juices and smoothies are gentle way to detox your mind, body, and soul. It is best to detox gently so that toxins can be released and expelled slowly. If toxins are released too fast and not expelled fast enough they will be wind up in places that you don’t want them, like your breast milk.
