It all started when I went with my friend and her husband to Jamaica, she was planning to have her baby there and her midwife provided a home for us all to stay in. I was also pregnant at the time and wanted to see everything and possibly do the same thing with my little one. I knew nothing about natural birth or home birth as this was my 3rd child and the other two were hospital births.

Unexpectedly, the Queen went into labor with her midwife being hours away from us. A calmness emanated from my being and I went into action. Comforting her and doing all things that felt right to me. She wanted me to help deliver the baby but I lacked the confidence to do so. Once the midwife arrived I was told that everything I did was what a Doula or Midwife would have done! I was shocked.

I remember a few days later witnessing the Midwife in the ocean, looking so graceful and I told myself that the next time I am in the position to help, I won’t doubt or hesitate.

Now here we are.

At this moment services include a donation center where you can receive clothes, shoes, coats and other items for your children all free of charge. All that is asked is that you pay a small shipping fee and if you do not have funds for that fee please let me know, I can still get you your items.

Also provided are pregnancy, birth assistance and post natal support.

As a client of TLCMamas™ You affirm:

• Should a TLCMamas™ Team Member agree to be physically present during the services provided, you must insure their safety and well-being. We hold ourselves to a high moral standard, and the you will do the same towards us.

• Any form or amount of payment verbally or contractually agreed upon between TLCMamas™ members and you for products and services will be upheld and paid in the agreed upon time-frame. 

• The intent is that you keep information regarding TLCMamas™ as a whole, including all team members, private. We innerstand that TLCMamas™ is a private organization and to choose to utilize TLCMamas™ Services is a personal decision.

• You innerstand that if you opt for a TLCMamas™ birth collaborator to assist you in an “unassisted home birth”, then any emergency or choice to contract with a hospital or birth center is separate from private services from TLCMamas™. 

• You agree that you have not and will not file any grievance, complaint, claim or charge with any local, state, or federal agency or judicial body concerning any matter that is the subject of this release. You will instead opt for Private Mediation within our Private Community.

By agreeing to receive services from TLCMamas™, you acknowledge that you are informed and educated in the choices as a client of TLCMamas™ and waive all rights to legal action.
